I am currently a Ph.D. candidate and NSF Graduate Research Fellow in the laboratory of David Liu at Harvard University and the Broad Institute.
I discovered through my graduate studies that redesigning enzymes with AI can elevate their evolutionary potential, enabling the reprogramming of AI-redesigned proteases with enhanced properties that are inaccessible to their natural counterparts.
With my colleagues in the Liu lab, we applied this discovery to create next-generation prime editors for therapeutic gene editing.
